K>K Personal answerYes |
Transportation › Public Transportation
K>K Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Military Spending
K>K Personal answerIncrease, but only after our deficit is drastically reduced |
Crime › Demilitarize the Police
K>K Personal answerBack when I was a child, growing up in a family of police officers, cops had the standard equiptment and used it to the best of their knowledge and ability, based on the situation they were about to enter. The weapons they carry are not conducive to the reason(s) they use it, i.e. guns don't kill, people do. It's all about the mindset of the officer, not the weapon. If you have a trigger-happy cop, it's not going to matter what he's/she's carrying |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
K>K Personal answerNo |
Science › Nuclear Energy
K>K Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Single-Payer Healthcare
K>K Personal answerYes |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
K>K Personal answerNo |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
K>K Personal answerYou gave up the right to vote when you got locked up. How much sense does it make when women had to wait til 1919 to be able to vote, but a criminal can vote? NO! |
Crime › Defunding the Police
K>K Personal answerI think decreasing funding the police is a bad idea. The majority of police department don't need reform, they need replacement. We need police to be a reflection of the communities they serve. The key word is SERVE. We need to take a hard look at the PEOPLE we hire to become cops, not the cops we hired to Serve and Protect the PEOPLE. |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
K>K Personal answerYES and the cola should benefit the patron, not the merchant. I clearly understand that merchants are also patrons, however, not every patron is a merchant. |
the Economy › Universal Basic Income
K>K Personal answerWhile i can agree to a certain extent that the UBI would cause some to dropout of the workforce, it benefits those that can't work and have no source of income. |
Housing › Homeless Encampments
K>K Personal answerI was homeless for 2-1/2 years in NJ and it was horrible. I slept in my car in the parking lot of a hotel. I had to make sure I parked in a dark spot to avoid notice by staff. Yes, but not for those that refuse shelter. I was afforded such shelter. I worked for the government and wasn't allowed to stay in the building after punching out because they thought I was stealing money, thinking I didn't punch out. So, if the homeless person has no available resource available to them, they should be allowed to sleep wherever they feel safe. |
